Brenda Flannery

Brenda Flannery is an Irish artist based in County Mayo. She graduated from the Centre for Creative Arts and Media in Galway with a BA Hons Fine Art and specialises in seascapes, primarily in oils, inspired by the landscape and constantly changing weather on the coast.

Much of her work is inspired by the surrounding rural landscape and the miles of sandy beaches along the west coast of Erris. Brenda’s ability to capture light and atmosphere is at the core of her work as its ability to transform any setting as it bounces and reflects of the surrounding surfaces.

Brenda has participated in solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally including the RUA Annual Exhibition in Belfast.
