Stephen Gallagher
Stephen Gallagher was born in 1988 and is originally from Dungannon, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. He was formally trained as an architect in the University of Ulster; living and working in Ireland, New Zealand and Australia.
He went on to train under award winning New Zealand artist Mehrdad Tahan in 2016 and is now working full time as an artist. He specialises in canine oil portraiture. The techniques he uses truly bring the subjects of his work to life. He has had solo and group exhibitions across New Zealand and Northern Ireland over the course of his career.
